Blue hermit crab with one eye only

Hello,

I got a week ago a blue legged hermit crab which was not doing well since it arrived (always hide inside his shell), but today he has molt and started to move and show up a little.

I immediatly noticed on the molt that he has only one eye and I got final confirmation once he showed up.

It will grow again the missing eye or it will just keep as it is and it will be okay for him ???

Right now he has a lot difficulty to move, its like his shell is very heavy for him...

Yes it will be okay. They can regrow new arms and claws, but idk if they can grow eyes.

Also that is not a blue legged hermit. That is a dwarf zebra hermit, Calcinus laevimanus.

Blue legs have orange tipped claws and are a much darker blue.

Before molting his color was dark blue... the light blue color you see on pic is result after molt lol.

Anyway hope he will be doing well.

Blue legged hermit looks like the picture below. It has dark black claws with white spots and orange tips. Legs also have orange on them. What you have is not like this. It is most likely a zebra hermit.
Let us know if it grows a new eye, it would be fun to know.
