blue leg crabs and hermit crabs are they ok together

i have a really bad aiptasia problem and i read that blue leg crabs eat it i was going to buy some and also some pepermint shrimp. i hope they will do the trick but i dont know if they will kill all the other crabs and snails i read they are bold what should i do

I guess it depends how bad it is...danieljames has a thread on page 1 or 2 about what he did with his recently. I had about 20-25 awhile back and I just joe's juiced 'em with no problem. good luck!

I had some aiptasia a while back and 1 peppermint shrimp took care of it in less than a week!

Blue legged hermit crabs should get along with your other critters fine but they won't eat aiptasia. I have allways had good luck with peppermints eating aiptasia so hopefully those will do the trick for you. The key is not feeding the peppermints much so they will want to eat the aiptasia...they would rather eat fish food if it's available.
