i think my tank might JUST BARELY be adaquate for him. He roams over the whole of my 120Lbs of LR then makes his shot at the substate and the glass... then makes his way back to the starting point of his live rock rotation. Seems to be doing alright, has been in tank for about 1.5 months.

Took it with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel 6.0 Mpixel with a tamron 105mm macro. No flash on a tripod.

I got the lens just for the tank, have got some decent shots out of it.

I always work in raw and usually only use Auto-levels in Photoshop.

I'd like to get something with a bit more Pixels, but this is still popping out some nice ones.

IMHO, 1.5 months may be too soon to say whether if it is doing well or not.

Btw, Tamron has a 90 mm macro, and Sigma has a 105 mm macro. So which of these now?

Its a tamron... i tried all three in the shop, rented the canon, then the tamron... the tamron gives a clearer picture IMHO.
