Does anyone have one. i have had mine for about 2 months now and i still havent had any problem with it. i read somewhere that they only eat a sertain kind of algee that grows on rocks. how do u know if that is what he is eatin. but just wanted to say that he is doing great and i might just go and get me a red one next. or is it not safe to have them both in the same tank.

as long as the tank is large enough to provide enough food supply for them, then you're alright. I would check what LiveAquaria's requirements are for the starfish. I tried an orange linkia, but it didn't make it in my 24g nano :(

Ive had one for about 3 months so far with no problems. I also have a marble Fromia That Ive had for about 6 months and a small red fromia with 4 legs(looks like a Nija star) that Ive had for about 10 months....The only thing with my Blue and red is that they are more active at night for some reason. once in a while the yare out during the day but I see them a lot more at night...

I've had an Orange Linkia (All-Sealife) for about 8 months and the Blue Linkia (Big Als) for about 3 months and both look great. In fact they always hang out together giving a great color contrast of Orange and Blue (Gators anyone?) when they're together.

Here's a pic of where they normally hang out in the front right corner of my tank:

Also that dark colored slug looking thing under the Blue Linkia is a Cuke. It's funny cause I always see the three hanging out together.

I've kept a purple (yes purple, not blue) linkia for several months now and it is very active and seems quite healthy. From what I understand, they're usually pretty fragile shippers, so getting a healthy one acclimated successfully and into your tank can be difficult. We tried a blue one previously, and it started disintegrating the next day. If you can get past that initial stage and have a decent sized healthy tank, they should do fine.

Also, my understanding is that they eat some form of bacteria, not algae.

I really haven't taken any good pictures of him yet, but I need to.

You can see the linkia in this shot, look above the red monti cap, on the rocks near the edge of the tank.
