I have never seen these at any local stores, they seem to be hard to find, any particular reason the greens are more popular?

Blue-green reef chromis are the same thing. They are called that becuase they are iridescent between both blue and green. Blue chromis, Green Chromis, same thing.

I seen them first on Liveaquaria... I would love a shoal of these, just wondering why they seem unpopular

The Blue Cromis (Chromis cyanea) is from the atlantic. They are very bright and a great addition to a reef tank. Some people say they will windle a group down, but that probably depends on tank size.

Hey Luther, I will be sure to QT them in RO wastewater :D
sorry dude, I couldnt help it, you have been all over me all weekend, Do they still look like a chromis in the eye area, or more like a blue devil?

I read that the blue reef chromis will not school after they reach a certain size. Then the #'s will dwindle down to one as the dominant one kills the others off.

that has been my experience....... started with 6 and down to three and one shows dominance over the other two and I notice it dorsal fin has a darker line on the top edge.... it even stakes out a spot and chases everthing else away from it from time to time.. Like the nori clip..
