Blue Spot Puffers

Just curious on people's experiences with these and skunk cleaner shrimp? I love my shrimp, but this looks like a great fish with lots of personality.

I lost two cleaners and suspect my blue spot. They had shortened antennae for some time and then disappeared. I suspect the puffer. Could have been my yellow coris wrasse.

I don't think any shrimp is safe with a puffer in the tank. My peppermints lasted all of 3 minutes thanks to my blue spot.

Thanks for the info and confirming what I was thinking anyway. I love my shrimp and don't want them served up for fish food.

do they eat hermits and emerald crabs? will they eat pellets?

My puffer has actually left my hermits and snails alone, for the most part. He did go after the emeralds when I put them into the tank, quite vigorously, too. However, if you add the emeralds at night, they'll probably be okay since they'll likely hide during the daytime.
