are these a more common species that are kept? my lfs has one and i am considering gettng it. anyone got pics of theirs?

I had one for about a year before losing it to ich, In terms of being common in the trade you don't tend to see them to often, Although not super-rare.

If he is eating I would buy, looks really nice under actinics with the nice blue dots all over the body.

Good Luck!

If it is eating grab it ... not too easy fish to find . Nice angel , not agressive and not too shy after aclimatation period. From his genus, gray poma angel is more common ...althrough not expensive (like meredith angel) really nice fish if healthy.
As collected from indonesia, must pay attention to signs of cyanide poisoning (belly alterations, color too bright or too dark etc) and make a good QT as most angels require , prazipro treatment is recomended.
As fish is eating well in LFS ...should be fine fish for you collection...

He was in a 120. Not many good pics but here is what he was in. Are you getting the one at the LFS?

The Literature says good in a 90 gallon. Maybe I'll try one.
Flying53Brian: That looks like a Blue-stripe to me.

Nuts, sorry, there he is below that Pajama Cardinal. My bad!

I highly recommend this angel. It's one of my favorite angels of the six I have.
Very personable, always out in the open. I've had it since it was a juvi & it's always ready to eat whatever I feed it. Here's a pic of it.
