Mostly cyano, diatoms, and epiphytic microalgae.

Think they would eat Dictyota and not chaeto?

They only eat hair algae from my experience with one. I put one in my smaller tank and he cleaned up the hair algae very quickly. After it was gone, I put him in my fuge just to see if he would eat chaeto or caluerpia and he didnt mess with it. Took him back to my LFS, and then a week later I saw his dead body wrapped around an urchin Poor guy.
