Blue Spotted Seahare, any info or input?

My LFS has a Blue Spotted Seahare. What all do they eat? Are they useful or just bulldozers??? ANy input would be appreciated.

It depends which blue spotted seahare you get. Stylocheilus tend to stick to the sand and eat diatoms and cyano. Bursatella (which would be my guess for an ID) are pretty similar in behavior, but their diet tends to vary more. They might go after other types of microalgae as well.

the LFS guy said since he put it in there he hasn't had any red slime.
