blue tang has something wrong with it

i noticed over the last few days my blue tang has some sort of marking on its side/belly. Only on one side though, i know they like to wedge themselves into the rockwork but i doubt it is that. It hasn't been acting funny or showing any signs of being sick. Its tankmates are generally very cool calm and collected and never pick on anybody. Although i've had my doubts at times on the melanurus wrasse and the pair of blue throat triggers sometimes being the 'bullies'. But nobody ever really ever picked on the blue tang, is it some kind of disease i need to get it out and treat it? Here is a pic i snapped of it, will try and upload a video i took as well

i think im going to remove the gac and gfo media reactors i have running. I have been running them ever since a cyano outbreak i had to deal with about 6 months ago. The cyano went away after about a month or so of running gfo/gac and i have just kept running the reactors ever since. I have heard about GAC maybe being a culprit behind the hlle disease.

What are you feeding it? It should be getting some nori (green algae) daily-it's primary food source. and a variety of other meaty foods to supplement.

-people not running GAC get HLLE, people running GAC haven't seen HLLE.. so.. i find the gac claims dubious.. i've ran carbon in most of my tanks without getting hlle...

i feed all of them a very mixed diet, they get lots of garlic enriched seaweed daily, frozen brine shrimp and mysis, as well as the marine one pellets on occassion. So, im not really sure?

Your best bet is to just keep feeding and make it fat and happy. Dont stress it. Sometimes fish get random scrapes or bloating.
