blue throat trigger

Any luck with these in a reef tank? Would they get along with a yellow tang, coral b,and 2 clown fish? What about inverts, shrimp, snails and hermits

They can get along with the mention above and many people have success with them in a reef but then again wouldn't be surprise if someone had them take out an invert here and there.
What size tank? Don't think a 46 or 92 would be enough for a good size bluethroat trigger.

I had one in my reef for awhile. It was a perfect resident. I gave him to a friend though, so I could get a pair of crosshatches

I agree. They need more swimming room than either of those will provide.
