Hello all,
I added a new Blue Velvet Nudibranch to my tank yesterday to try and combat the flatworm problem i am having. This morning when i went to find him, i was unable to. I thought he may be hiding somewhere in the rock work so I didn't give it much of a thought. A few hours later I notice that my yellow watchman goby is snacking on something I con not Id. All I can tell is that it is black and chewed up. He was spitting it in and out of his mouth. I am thinking that this is probably the nudi that I had search so hard for. The other option is that he decided to make a snack of one of the snails in the tank, that I think he has done before but I have never actually seen it. Has anyone else ever have an experience like this. My powerhead are pretty well covered so I don't think It could have gotten into them. And I don't have an overflow.
I guess my second question is that if the YWG did in fact get a rather pricey snack is he going to be ok. I know that these nudi's are toxic.
Thouhts and optinion please.
