Blue zoo requirements?

I added a frag of small blue zoanthids to my minimal nano reef last weekend and they seem reluctant to open. I have two other small colonies of zoos - orange and green mostly - that seem very happy, one less than an inch from this blue colony. Do blues have specific light or current requirements different from other colors? The blue polyps are also somewhat smaller than those in the other colonies, so perhaps I am also dealing with a different species. I am running simple power compacts over an 18 g with all low-light corals. The blues are currently at the top of the tank, but that still doesn't equate to a lot of light given my system.

I have the same issue with my blue zoos. I have other zoos and they are all happy. One is starting to open but not very much

do they stay shut at night too? I've had zoos not open in the full light until I light acclimated them.

Yes they are so far all shut at night. When the lights are on perhaps 30-50% of the polyps open.

sorry to resurect this thread but I was just searching around for some more info on my tubb's blue zoo's as well. They seem to be very slow growers and don't always open either. I have had them for 6+ months and they are the pickiest dang things I have ever seen.
