Does anyone have any expirence with Bodianus sanguineus?

I saw one at AquaTouch face book page. It would be a nice addition to my Hawaiian Tank but the big fish are very aggressive eaters. Would hate to see it starve.

I have a big Hawaiian Convict tang, two big lemon butterflys, two big bandit angles that are eating machines. The 4+ inch achilles x gold rim is lucky if it gets any food. I do have another tank with 4 smaller Hawaiian fish, yellow tang, achilles, flame A and a C tinkeri. I could place the fish in that tank but I was going to put all the fish in the same tank in the future.

I do feed a lot, mostly spirolina flake for the big fish, some mysis and fronzen brine, instant ocean gel food and other suff. My guess is that hog fish would like meaty foods. Any food suggestions.

Its a exspensive fish also, I could work overtime to pay for it. Could also by a lot of other fish for the same amount of money. Maybe someone else will buy the fish?

Seems like you like expensive fish... I would assume any meaty foods like shrimp, squid, etc. would work and I wouldn't doubt it would take dry food. Although I don't have experience with that hogfish, they usually aren't shy fish so I think it would fit in in each tank. I think your bigger problem will be putting the achilles and the hybrid together.

Its Hawaiian Fish I like, not expensive fish. Some of the 'cheap' fish are the best.
That's what I was thinking for the meaty foods.

At one time I did have two Achilles x Goldrims in the same tank, the bigger one chased the smaller one so ended up keeping the smaller one in a floating plastic basket for several days till it flipped over one night and they were fine after that.
Thanks for the advice, maybe you should buy the fish so I won't be tempted!
