ANyone ever been to bonaire looking to go honeymooning there especially for the diving. Some contact info would be nice...

I'm terribly jealous! My husband and I have been there twice. We want to plan trip number three.

Both times we stayed at the Deep Blue View. If you don't want to stay at a busy place, check them out. It's a villa with 5 rooms. It's a 5 minute jaunt from the water. Since you throw all your gear in the truck to shore dive, we preferred that so we had the peace and quiet of the villa.

Menno has everything on site (tanks, lockers, pool etc) It's class A all the way.

It all depends on what you want - folks like Captain Don's, etc. too. That's just not our scene. Go check out Bontairetalk.com and you can get lots of useful info to plan your trip. You'll have an awesome time.

Umm, besides diving you have a choice of kite boarding on the southern end of the island or windsurfing next to the nudist resort on the west side. I believe there are one or two all inclusive resorts on the island that may have a few activities, but for the most part, I think you're on your own to create fun.

Bonairetalk.com, like amazon mentioned, is probably your best place to visit in order to get more info on various activities. I've only been once and we stayed at den laman, a little 20-25 unit condo complex right on the water a little north of town.

Bonaire

We usually spend our last day before flying (off-gassing :) ) driving through the park in the north. That's a good half day adventure. (Bring some fruit to feed the lizards.) On our second trip we went to the donkey santuary too and had a great time. That will take an hour or two depending on how much time you want to spend with them.

There are nature trips, kayak tours, etc. But it's not Aruba (thank goodness!). That's the real beauty of the island IMO. You can really unwind.

BTW, the donkeys really like corn pops!
