I was looking at acrylic aqurariums on ebay. One of the ads states that the capillary method is not good for aquariums. It says that they use a 2 part polymerization method which is stronger. They have a 270 gl. tank 72x36x24 out of 1/2" acrylic. That seems a little on the small side from what I have read. Just wanting some feedback.

I learned recently that 2part is stronger if done correctly, but that doing it correctly is not trivial. Solvent cement is plenty strong enough for our purposes, and you have a visual indicator that the seam is welded, whereas you don't with the 2part.
