Bowl feeding

Can anyone explain this process to me step by step?

How often?

How much food to add?

Cant I just add the food to the water rather than go through the hassle of bowl feeding???

you can do it either way.

if you add it to the tank just add a small amount every day.

if your going to bowl feed, do it every other day and add just enough to tint the water green

OK, great!

I think I will just feed while it is in the tank. Shut the flow off and baste some food near the clam.

no need to shut the flow off. i wouldn't shut anything off just add it to the tank. clams feed slowly all day long. they dont take in big gulps of food, so squirting it near or at the clam can do more harm then good.
