Brain Coral???

What are the needs of brain coral? I want to get in hope that one day i will be dominating my tank. What info do you all have?

Quality water and params, Ca at 400 or a little above, Mg about1300.

do they need intense lightiing or moderate? When ive been diving ive seen them ar the bottom of the reefs so i presume they would need moderate. But just to be sure.

Usually they need stronger lighting. Most brains preffer being on the sandbed so higher lights are needed to reach the bottom of your tank.

thanks, how many watts would your recommend for a 18" deep tank would t5ho suffice?
