Branching GSP

I found an aquarium warehouse in San Diego and bought a few frags of a branching gsp (Briareum asbestinum, I believe). I'll be bringing it home tomorrow and hoping to grow it out and fragging it. This stuff is nice since it won't take over a rock and instead branches out. Here are a couple of shots of the mother coral.

Following along, I need some branching GSP, my tank only has the regular ones!!!

Everything I brought back seems to have survived the trip. I'll be getting my dosing back online and watch these frags thrive hopefully.

7 months since the last update, heres what the frag looks like.

The branches are about 5 to 6" long now amd there are about 10 of them.

It pretty much has the same growth rate as matting GSP. Here's another shot.

I didn't know such a thing existed. A while back, we got GSP to grow on some coral sticks but once it got to the top, it started growing into fleshy shelf structures. Weird - didn't last long that way.

Kmu your tank looks awesome with all that gsp.

Raptor can you post a full tank shot would love to see that beauty!
