Brand New 65g Chip Advice Please

So I bought a Marineland 65gallon Reef Ready Tank from That Pet Place 3ish months ago to start a new build. Well, I filed that tank up last night and realized that there was a chip on the end of the front glass panel (under the black silicone, which is why I didn’t notice it when I bought it. You can’t see it without lights being on the tank). It isn’t leaking or anything right now, but is the seal going to last? As you can see from the pictures it looks like there are little bubbles in the seal around where the chip is. Is this safe long term?

Also, although I haven’t tried yet, should I just return it? Two problems with returning it -1. I live in NJ and don’t really want to drive 6 hours and 2., I am not too optimistic that they will even let me. I did fill out the Marineland warranty since I bought it with a stand – has anyone tried going that route? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

After reading through different posts I decided to take half of the water out to reduce stress on the joint. Well, that explains why I didn’t notice anything before filling it with water. NO BUBBLES. (I was actually asking myself, "how in the he** did you not notice the chip and the bubbles when you have been starring at the tank for the past two months getting everything together). I now believe that the seal coming apart (or so it seems) was the cause of the chip. There is no other explanation, and honestly, I would have noticed it. I originally thought the oversight was due to light, but now that clearly isn't the case.

At this point I cant consciously use this tank. Clearly the seal isn’t good. Ill update with what I hear from That Pet Place and Marineland. Hopefully I am not out the entire $200 for the tank and $20 for the hard plumbing that I already installed. :(....sucks everything was all set up to get my Radion for Christmas and move my 29g over..
