Brand new (two weeks) MP-40WES constantly stalling out

Hi,

About two weeks ago I bought a MP40 WES for my tank in order to get reliable flow. Needed that due to an upcoming hospital stay (heart surgery). Surgery went well and now back home recovering.

This morning I discovered that the controller was flashing red/green which means it had stalled. Checked the pump and the whole wet side had rotated from its position. The dry side does work by itself it seems like. Inspected the wet side but could not find anything obviously wrong. Did notice that the propeller could be moved up and down some along the shaft but I do not know if that is normal or not.

Please help as I am still not capable of doing any major tank work and bought this pump with the intent for it to work more than two weeks. Thanks!

Thanks! Just sent an email back. The pin spacer is set correctly. Has since day 1 and the pump has been running fine for over 2 weeks.

Think I found the problem. The wet side magnet seems to be fused stuck to the assembly and won't move no matter what I do. Should I return the pump to the store or how do I go about getting this resolved?

Issues resolved thanks to Alex. A new wet side will be shipped out tomorrow. Thanks again EcoTech for outstanding customer service. Sucks to have the tank without any major circulation for a couple of days but glad it will be resolved.
