Breaking things down, majority of setup FS

Hey all,

I haven't been on much lately because Ive had a ton of stuff going on in real life, and am planning on changing the location in my home where my tank is setup. Unfortunately my current tank won't fit in that new spot so I'm going to be selling off a majority of the setup to finance the new stuff.....

I have some interest in it from people who have seen it already, but wanted to list it in case others might be interested or if I need to break things up....

Tank is a GC rimless. 90g tank (36x24x24) with starfire glass on the front and side panels. I'm going to try selling the tank, stick stand (you would need to skin it if you're worried about it looking pretty), 40B sump, plumbing, and some odds & ends (T5 light for fuge, acrylic cover for overflow, mesh top if wanted, etc).

When I bought the tank:

Here's a pic from today, the tank looks "cloudy" because I just scraped coraline off the front and side panes.....

$450 for everything in this "package".... The tank alone with all the "extras" was $800 when it was purchased.

I had a power surge the other week and lost some of my lights, so I will be putting all new ballasts into my ATI PM fixture. This will mean its basically a brand new fixture, with new ballasts and I also have some new bulbs to go into it (I think I have 6 currently). The light is an 8x39w fixture.

$400 OBO for the 8x39 ATI PM fixture with hanging kit

Tunze 6055 powerheads. I have two of them, $140 each or $240 for both....

Live rock (unfortunately covered in aiptasia) I have 90-100 pounds if memory serves. I'd like $1.50 a pound but I will also throw in a food grade brute 33g can for it along with wheels for the can if they're wanted if someone buys it all. I'm hoping to get it out this weekend and get an exact weight.

I'm hoping to break this all down this weekend, so it should all be available next week. Unfortunately with my back getting messed up (big part of my stuff going on in real life) I won't be able to help lift the tank at all, so if anyone wanted it they would need to bring some manpower since it is quite heavy....

I'm sure I'll find more stuff to go as well....

Hey all,

I got quite a few PM's so I wanted to be a little more specific about everything. The skimmer is going to be staying with me for the upcoming setup, it's not for sale and definitely wouldn't be included in the price listed.

The tank that's for sale would basically just need a heater & return pump and it would work, but to make sure it's all listed the following is whats included for the $450 price.....

90g starfire rimless tank
Stand shown in pictures (would need skinning to be "pretty")
All plumbing under the tank (including true unions and SCH80 fittings)
All plumbing in the overflow (durso standpipe, return with locline, etc.)
40B glass sump with glass panes. (11" x 18" sections for all three chambers)
Refugium light (T5 setup 2x18w)
Black acrylic overflow
Black acrylic overflow cover (stops fish from ending up in overflow)
Mesh cover (if wanted)
Skimmer stand (pvc & acrylic to set skimmer height at 8" if wanted)

Just took another pic to show it a little clearer after some of the coraline dust cloud settled...

If anyone took the entire setup for the $450 I also have an external return pump (I believe, Ill have to check in the garage) I would include with it, although it wouldn't work with the current setup you might be able to trade it for one or something....

I'm going to really try to sell this as an entire setup right now just so I'm not stuck with random items, but if I get enough interest in certain parts I might be able to separate things....

Just to give an idea, I went to GC and these are the "extras" I bought....

Rimless 95-3 tank $450
Reef Ready $75
Starfire front and sides $175
Black silicone seams $25
Acrylic Overflow $35

So the tank was $760 plus the shipping on top of that....

It looks like the tank setup will be going in the morning.... I was able to get all the rock out and it's sitting in a brute container with heat and flow.... Probably 100# + of LR in there, plus the brute itself and wheels (if wanted)

$100 for whoever comes and gets it, remember it has some hair algae and aiptasia on it and you'll have to do the lifting because my back is shot.
