Hello. I've been reading tons of info lately on breeding clowns and Bangaii. I have a young pair of OCC's in a Nanocube, but it is a reef tank, and I don't really want to feed in the quantities the experts here are recomending. Is there a chance they will ever breed? Anyway, I thought of an idea last night. I have a shallow (6'x2') 125 gallon reef tank with a shallow 37 gallon refugium attached (same footprint as a 55 gal). The refugium has lots of liverock, and many different kinds of Macros. What if I put a new OCC pair and a Bangaii pair in there? I would put in tank dividers to give them an appropriate amount of space. For the Bangaii's, if they were the ones next to the gravity fed outflow into the main tank, I would put up another divider with some fine mesh screening near the time the male would release the babies so they didn't get sucked into the other tank. Any problems with this set-up? Does anyone do anything similar? I would keep the Macro in there. Would these fish do well in a heavily planted tank?
Thanks!
Thanks!
