Breeding and Selling Clownfish

At what size do people usually sell tank breed clownfish?

And how long does it take them to reach that size?

Stores local to me desire the fish to be at least 1 inch preferrably 1.25 inches in length. It has taken me about 4 months to get Tomato clowns to an inch, but 6 months will definitely get me to that point.

Thanks i was gona try and raise some little black ocellaris clowns so the times may be diffrent

But dam 6 months !!!!!

I dont wanna wait that long lol

I would say if your goal is to turn a quick profit, get out now! :lol: The journey of raising the fry is quite fulfilling, however non cost effective at a small scale.

On the bright side it gave me many more reasons to enjoy this hobby.

Oh im not trying to make fast cash buy raising a couple clowns,

I just want to see if i can do it and get them to live

But i would have no place to put them so i would have to sell them,

I just think it would be fun to raise them and see them grow and i could provide some local people with some clowns maybe save a couple in the ocean
