any do or donts???

Hey Joe... First off what kind of ORA clowns? #1 ask around on local boards....a local starter culture is better than Shipping rots.If that fails use Reed Macroculture. You can also get Nano, Pavlova, and live nano there also.If you a serious you will need these.#2 Try a terracotta tile first. Many clowns will lay on it right away...I think they like the way it feels. If they move the tile I use a bigger tile.If that does not work try the plex method. The eggs will normally hatch on the 8Th night. When you see silver eyes its close.#3 I use a five gal.water bottle and one for back up culture.{one will crash}#4 Green water is the use of live phytoplankton in a larval tank.It does 5 major things. ....#1 keeps rotifers gut loaded in the tank.#2 nutrient uptake.#3 co2 into oxygen.#4 defuses light[spinners will calm down and headstanders will swim].#5 I am sure the fish eat it .I am pro green water altho fish can be raised without it[by people far smarter than me]Get Wilkersons book Clownfish. Many people here will not answer a ? if it is covered in the book.May take me a few days but I will help when I can.Mitch
