Breeding Hopefuls

These are my pair of ORA Black Ocelaris Clownfish. They have been in my 29 gallon tank for around a year and a half. I am really trying to get them to lay eggs and am wondering what more I should do?
Params:
nitrite 0
amonia 0
nitrate 20-40 (yes I know high im working on that)
salinity 1.025
temp is between 80.5 and 81

I am trying at feeding them twice a day. They hosted my GSP in the corner of my tank and I stuck in a PVC tube since there was no rockwork around. The female immediately went in it. They are the only fish besides a firefish. I'm hoping for the best with them!

You may need to step up the feeding a bit.
If you can only feed 2x;s a day see if you cant fit in another.
Even if it is 1 hour from the last.
Put in a variety such as frozen mysis, krill, squid (they might not go for it at first)and
some good pellet food.
Suppliment with selcon or a vitamin.
Use an auto feeder if you must.

TIme will play its roll.

I do feed my own cubes made of lots of PE mysis, mysis, brine shrimp, krill, squid and clam. More stuff but I can't think of it right now. Ill try throwing in more food it might not be a consistent 3 times a day though.

Are they showing any signs of breeding?

Dancing together, cleaning any rock, glass or the PVC?
Any genital tubes showing?

These will be signs, and then the rest will follow.

Nice pair. Good luck with them. Make sure you step up the water changes when you are feeding that much! Crank that heat up some more.

Maybe another 8-12 months. When they are capable of spawning, the female will be 3" and the male will be 2". I can completely relate to you because I did the same with my pair. I always asked lots of questions on how to get them to spawn sooner. :lmao:
Anyways, you'll be able to tell when they are capable of spawning. I could tell easily, but it is something that you just know, there's not really an explanation for how you know if that makes sense. Mine looked like yours about 8-12 months ago (can't exactly remember when) but give them time. In a few months you'll look at your tank and say to yourself "Whoa! She's so much bigger than he is!" which is what I did and about 8-12 months later (now) I have lots of little babies swimming around in my fry tank. :lmao:
