breeding true percs

I have a pair of true percs that constantly courting. They have laid eggs twice, hatched, then were consumed, or died after a couple of days. I would really like to help keep the babies alive. Currently I have a 55 gal reef setup, stocked with a variety of fish and invertes. I would hate to have to make a fish only tank just for them. Any help would be great.

Try placing a tile where they have laid eggs (by their anemone or coral or whatever they host). If they lay on the tile or flowerpot you can pull it out of the reef tank for remote hatching. Otherwise you will have to try and snag larvae upon the night of hatching if the eggs make it that long.

Pick up Joyce Wilkersons "Clownfish" book. It answers any possible question anyone could have reference clownfish (adults and fry). Got mine on Amazon for about $20.
