bright pink scolymia

i think mine is dying, its mouth is open a 1/2 inch or so and i can see through part of its skin( it has a hole!)

i also have a regular green scolymia and red one too that are doing fine,

could i have shocked him with too much light? he is still holding his bright color but i can tell he isnt healthy

some of the flesh is coming off, can they bounce back from this anyone?

Do you have a picture? Everyone visualizes words differently and a picture would help.

How much flow is it getting? Ours got really ticked off when it was in flow that was too much for it. The flesh started pulling away from the skeleton. We've moved it to calmer waters and it's doing better. I know a guy that's brought some back before and he only feeds them once a week, no more no less according to him

As far as the mouth and hole, since I'm not sure what you're seeing it's hard to tell, I'm afraid I won't be helpful - sorry, hopefully someone else will chime in.
