Scored a nice frag of bright pink zoas from Tongs FV today. White centers, BRIGHT pink rings & grey skirts. Got it out thier frag tank for $19.99. Funny thing is they had a 100+ polyp colony of it for like $700!!!!! Give me 6 months & this one should have 100+

That's what the employee told me.......................it was easily 100+ polyps & was already encrusting the rock w/ the white base zoas have, but wasn't completely covered in polyps yet (did that make sense?)

Steve :D

uhh... they can't be serious. I got a same colony w/ over 100 polyps for a fraction of that price. that's insane!!!

People in Somalia think we are insane for spending money to keep fish alive instead of eating them.

people in somalia are busy praying 5 times a day so I don't think they have time to be thinking we are insane! :P

Nice blues!!! gotta love them

Sweet Eli Whitney's nose! I know Tong's is pricey but they've outdone themselves. I recall they had a few good-sized pieces of the same zoos for sale a couple of months ago ~$199 give or take a peso or two. It's not as though they are rare.

I agree, nice blues.

yeah, I bought a rock of zoos once and it looked awsome when it was in their store. When I got to home it was completely diff, the next time i was there I notice it was mainly actinic bulbs on the tanks.

In 6 months, you could be $680 richer:bounce1: Ebay time.

Funny thing is I think a lot of East Coasters that don't get the variety & slelction of corals we do, will probably pay $700......................I see threads w/ $40 a polyp PPE's & I just laugh...................for $40 a polyp you can keep 'em!!!!!

LOL, crazyness... You should buy another $20 frag and frag 100 single polyps....at $40 each..that's $4000! Hey Steve, want to sell/trade me a frag of the blues when they grow out? I will save up my $$$ in the meantime in case you want $40 a head - in 6 months, i should be able to afford a polyp or two.
