Is there any reason not to keep macro algae in the main tank? sometimes I have put small bunches of it from the fuge up into the tank and it hasn't been eaten. Is this a good thing or not?
thanks
What type of macro is it? What type of fish do you have? Either way, it's not a bad thing to keep macro in the main tank. It looks nice, creates pod breeding areas, and reduces nitrates.
Brillo, I think. I also have the long thin leafed stuff (chalerpa?) in my fuge that I was going to try in the display tank as well. From reading in this forum it seems that pretty much anything can go in the main tank with the only disadvantage being that it might get eaten or that it might be too invasive. right?
