Brine Shrimp Babies

I hatched by first baby brines for my dwarf horses but have a question about the brine shrimp. Will they survive in the horse tank for some time or do they die quickly? Also will they grow while still in the hatching dish? The reason I ask is they just hatched and are extremely small. I dont know that the horses will eat them while they are this small because they are extremely hard to see. Any feedback would be nice! Thank you

When you loop them out there should be a slight orange tinge to the bbs. That's the yolk sack. As the bbs matures - the orange disappears and they grow larger/develop a mouth and start to filter feed. It takes some time. I've done it accidentally when I had a bbs in my rotifer culture. A few days later I find a fully grown brine shrimp freaking out my rotifers...lol.

Anyways - I would place them in the sh tank. They do pollute the water if there are a large number of them as they molt to grow and the molts decay.

The alternative would be to place them in a 5 g bucket and add some phyto in there to grow-out the brine.
