Brine Shrimp Eggs

Rondelet

Can anyone give me some recommendations for a good/dependable suppliers/dealers for decapsulated brine shrimp eggs - especially if I need large quantities?

Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for decapsulated eggs for hatching? BS direct only has non-hatching eggs.

Gresham, thanks for the link. However, and I should have clarified this, the eggs would be for hatching.

Hatchable decapsulated brineshrimp eggs are readily available from most aquaculture brineshrimp egg suppliers. Problem (at least for us here) is that they need to be refrigerated to be viable. Friends of mine had ready orders for about 50 lbs of the stuff but due to the refrigeration requirement, the suppliers were not willing to ship.

If you need large quantities is more realistic if you do it yourself, decapsulated will be too expensive. You can always go without decapsulation.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the link/suggestions. I agree, decapsulated eggs are more expensive - but very convenient. All depends on the price/break in relation to what else is going on at the time. Thanks again.

PS - marinebetta - nice avatar! Is the Gem Tang yours?
