I've had him for about 8 months now and he eats just about everything he can fit into his mouth. :D

oh yeah, I remember Lenny! I started a thread about this last weekend in the Reef discussion forum and you posted. Thought it might be more productive here....haha....

LMAO... yeah I like tailspots :D Can ya tell? :p

I've had my tailspot for a few months now, and before that he was owned by another reefer for over a year. I find tailspots to be very interactive and just plain hilarious. This guy is relatively outgoing but has become more shy since moving into a bigger system, but then again he hasn't exactly had time to get used to it yet either.

Mine is in my 90 with quite a few other fish but after only a few days in the tank he lost his shyness. He's out cruising around all the time. You're right though, they are pretty funny little fish.

Great looking tailspots! I can definitely attest to them having a great personality. Mine has a hole he likes to hang out in, and when there's sand in it he will grab it with his mouth and spit it out. I watched him spitting it out at the clowns one day. Too funny to watch.

I keep trying to get a pic of it, but I swear he knows when I'm grabbing the camera

Are they easy to care for? Will they take flake and pellet food?

I got mine from Live Aquaria and he has been great. He is mostly eating algae and other things off my rock. I have seen him eating some flake and tasting mysis and brine.

Great little fish overall.

Mine tries to eat pellet food, but most of the time they are too big for him.

But, eats anything I put in the tank -- LifeLine's Herbivore mix, PrimeReef, mysis, and Rod's Food.
