Briopysis attack in my frag tank

Hello

I have a briopysis outbreak in my frag tank. I have heard that Tech M works great. A local reefer had a similar outbreak and used Tech M. He had a very bad experience loosing over 20 high end sps frags.

Any help is appreciated

I used that method once and it worked great! Make sure you slowly raise your mg level to 1600 and keep it there for a few days. The byropsis should just disappear, then let your mg level naturally fall back to normal levels. All my corals survived no rtn/stn good luck!

Ugghh

Ugghh

I hate this hair algae. It is spreading in my frag tank like weeds. The frag plugs look like my lawn in summer when i don't cut grass for two weeks.

Ordered Tech M. going to give it a shot. Any advice on how best to dose the Kent M?

A frag tank without live rock? Out of tank spot treating with peroxide and removing all Bryopsis from egg crate, walls etc may be a very good option. Whatever you do I would not introduce anything into the display until you are sure you've for it beat. Peroxide plus consistent and ruthless phosphate management will eliminate it. Best of luck!
