Bristleworm beneficial

Are bristleworms beneficial in the refugium.? I bought a wad of chaeto to start my refugium and within a few nights I was able to collect and kill about 20, 1/2" long bristleworms. Are they a benefit to the fuge? What if they make it to the DP?

they are perfectly fine for your refugium because they helps keep the detritus down. I used to worry about them before too...(they are so ugly) but bristle worms are a part of the complete cycle.
