I did a major25 gal water change today on my 58 because the nitrates were off the board and in about 30 minutes all the little brittle stars climbed to the highest points in the tank and one was releasing white stuff so should I expect baby brittlestars or was this just cool

Most tanks do not like major water changes. Was the temp, pH, Sg, Ca level etc the same as the old tank water?

some of my snails and bristle worms spawn when i do big water changes. little nasties

I didn't check the new water , I know the temp was a little colder. I never had anything spawn in my reef before it was pretty cool
