Broke T5 bulb into tank....

I was doing all my test tonight when the lid came slamming down. I tried to catch it and shattered a t5 bulb with my hand and and got glass and whatever is in the bulb in my tank. Has anyone done this? Should i expect negative affects? I got all the glass out. I had the luxury of pullin a good sized piece out of my hand too.

Doh! Yikes, depends if any of the chemicals were to get into the tank...i would do a water change whenver possible just to be safe.

I hope if any of the chemicals made it in that it was very little. I can tell my hand is starting to hurt and im thinking that my hand may have gotten most of the chemicals. On a positive note this gives me a reason to go see john at FAOIS tomorrow since my lights wont work missing that bulb.

Well everything is doing well still. Went and got a new bulb from John today and all is back to normal.

I had it happen with some T12's in a fish only thank no ill affects
