So I received a decent sized umbrella leather coral that was attached two some LR see attached image.

A small piece broke off (see other image).

For now I just placed him on a piece of LR. Should I just remove it from the tank? i.e. throw it away...

Or will it regrow? The piece that broke off doesn't have a foot. It's just the top part it looks like. Idk, I am new to the coral thing. :\

Thanks in advance!

Cool! I was hoping so. Did I just do my first accidental frag job? Is there anything I should look out for if things are heading south (not good).

Unless it looks like it is melting with chunks of tissue sloughing off (not to be confused with a thin layer being shed) then let it heal, it should be fine.
