i just started my tank about a week ago and i have bron alge building up on my return, overflow,and rock is that normal?

It sounds like your cycle has started keep checking water prams.

i keep cheking them every day and they have not changed. its been runing for 9 days now is this normal?

Yes this is normal. I let my tank run with no live stock for 3 months before adding any cuc.
