Yesterday I looked at my long tentacle plate and its covered in brown jelly. I used a turkey baster and blew it off I looked this morning and it was back how do I treat it?
The coral was also qt for 4 weeks before put in dt.:(

When I had an outbreak on some zoanthids, I brushed the jelly off with a soft toothbrush, did a series of large water changes, cut back my light, and stopped feeding the tank for a week. I had to cut away some dead polyps, but the method saved most of them. I don't know how I'd deal with a plate coral, though.

i dont have plate corals and dont know how they are fraged, but with most other corals the only way to get rid of it is to frag the bad part off. if you dont want to do that, you can just clean really well with brush. but i have had no luck with that. i lost 2 torch corals to this, and couldnt frag, so the corals eventually died.
