Browning frogspawn

Hi,

We rescued some bleached frogspawn from a fellow reefer whose power had been off for 24 hours.

We got it home, QT'd it, and it's been in our tank and doing fine for about 2-3 weeks. For the llast week, it's slowly showing some browness in some tips, which seem to be inside the coral (i.e. it doesn't blow off in decent flow or under turkey baster blasts).

We have an array of 6 T-5's above it in an 80 bow, thus:

(Frogspawn in question is dead center. Pictures of browness below are a little enhanced by photo editing. Anyone know what it is? And, what if anything to do?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Thanks but I don't think so. It's not floating above; it's more IN the coral. Could it be the return of good zooxanthellae?

Well thats good news. Yes it sounds like its replacing its Zoox.

Just a word of caution. Dont over expose them to light. Go slow. They need to acclimate SLOWLY!! Too much light to quickly will kill them.
