BRS Biopellet/MB 7 question

Since the startup of my 67g, I have been running approximately 300g of BRS biopellets and dose 3 capfuls of MB7 daily. I am now on day 10 and was wondering how long it usually takes for the MB7 to take off and show signs of life in a newly established tank.

The tank does not have live rock nor live sand, instead I went and used dry rock and sand. Also, the skimmer has been running since day 1.

According to the instructons on the MB7 bottle, after two weeks of the loading phase, I should begin a maintenance dose. If I haven't seen any signs of life, should I continue the loading phase?

What's do you think?

Ive never used biopellets but when I set up my tank with zeovit, almost the same thing it took 15-20 days for the bacteria to colonize the zeolites and dry rock I used. It really depends on how much dry rock you used. I would give it another few days, up to 1 month total to be safe. IMO its better to play it safe than lose expensive corals and fish.

Thanks for the replies.

How can they not work out? I was under the impression that it will do its job as long as one does not overdo it with the biopellet and bacteria dosage.
