BRS Website Maintenance Downtime

The BRS server will be down tonight for several hours as we are transitioning to our new server. The migration will start around midnight. I am not entirely sure how long the process will take, likely several hours and there is a possibility that it could be unavailable for a portion of the weekend but hopefully it will be good to go for you early risers.

Also, the system has to be rebooted today and I'm not precisely sure when that will be so you may notice that it is not accessible for a few minutes at some point today.

Just a quick update...things actually appear to have gone a bit smoother than I expected. I think most of the migration is complete. I've even updated the dns and it appears to already have started taking effect.

There are a lot of little things left for me to do so the server still likely won't be up for at least another 30-60 minutes and that is assuming everything continues to look as good as it has so far.

LOL, no, not really. I re-activated the server at around 3:40 or so -- I just forgot to post here before I went to bed!!

It just took a little longer than I expected to get all the other updates in place and whatnot. I still have a few more things to do but they weren't 'critical' to the operation of the system so I left them for later.

Anyway, it should be back up and operational/on.
