BTA being angry at Zoanthids

Our BTA, Mr. Bubbles, found a permanent home six months ago and couldn't be happier. But this last week, he's been quite angry with the zoas which are barging in on his space. His top tentacles have been limp and spagetti skinny, but the bottom half seems fine. This is why I do not think something else is going on with him. He still eats and opens up quite a bit during the day, but constantly his part toching the zoas does not look good.

Should I try to cut back the zoas? And if so how do I do that without making Mr. Bubbles mad to the point of him moving?

Thanks.

hmmm.... I recently rearranged my rockwork and my LTA is now touching zoanthids but in my case the zoanthids are getting the short end of the stick.

Can I remove the zoas under water to keep from angering Mr. Bubbles? I can't believe that he's losing the battle, but he seems extremely docile to the zoas. I don't want to agatate him because I don't want him moving.

are they attached to rubble, or to a main rock? you mean like peel up the zoas? u certainly can, but you should go to the zoathids forum for good directions
