BTA in a high flow area

For months my BTA was in a medium flow area, and recently moved directly in front of a powerhead in my 40 breeder. It appears healthy, but has a much thicker base as it isn't stretching like in its old spot. If I had a coral in this spot, I would say that it is way to much flow, but the anemone can move itself. Is this normal? Thanks for the input.

My BTAs do not like high flow. But like you said they will move where they want
