So I have a BTA for about a week now in a 5 gallon tank. he was looking perfectly fine this morning when I left for work and when I got home he is now 1/8 the size and shriveled, any suggestions of what is happening would be helpful. Thank you

Water tested fine

in general your water conditions are needed to help and "fine" is not a unit and is not usefull. whats fine to you may actually be far from it.
can we get salinity, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, phosphates, tempurature. along with how long the tank has been setup and what type of lighting your using
anemones need stable conditions and small tanks are terrible at remaining stable. the smallest thing can change the water chemistry by alot resulting in very unhappy and possibly dying anemones.
yours looks like its melting and will die and i have been a firm believer in trying to rescue all sick anemones but i feel that in your tank it will die its clearly not stable and will be very tough to nurse back to life in a 5 gallon
