BTA on the move.

I have had a nice size BTA in my tank for almost a year. It sat in the same spot for months, and in the last few days has begun to move around, basically on the same rock. Is this a sign of a problem with it? I've never had problems with one before, and I've never seen one move around like this. Should I be concerned?

Have you changed anything recently?

While I no longer keep BTAs, I do keep Haddonis (( sand dwelling anemones )) and the only time that they move is because of an outside cause. It could be; change in flow, something (( fish or coral )) bothering it, old/new bulbs, etc.

The only thing I've changed is my skimmer, I got a better one. Other than that, I had a bout with red slime, which I finally beat with red slime remover. My vho bulbs are about 7 mos old.

How long ago did you use the red slime remover?

I treated the tank one time, and the slime was gone. Tank looks great again.

But, how long ago did you do the treatment? If it wasn't too long ago it could be the reason the anemone is moving.

Oops, sorry. I treated the tank once and that was one week ago today.
