BTA turning brown

I bought a BTA that was pretty white with green tips about 5 months ago. It found a good spot and hasn't moved in about 4 months. It has definately grown since I got him, but his color is now almost brown. I feed him silversides, or krill, or prime reef, depends on the day.

Does this happen often? I did switch from 10K to 14k bulbs a couple of months ago, but I don't think that would do it.

When they're white, they're bleached and in bad health. You nursed it back to health and now it's taking on it's natural coloration... I'd expect it to green up as time goes by but going brown certainly isn't a bad thing.

I agree. It was bleached and now it is doing better. Keep doing what you are doing and it will should turn green before you know it.
