Bubble algae

ok,

Im sick of pulling this out and the emerald crabs are not doing it.

Any more ideas for getting rid of it? Rabbit fish maybe?

Thanks for any help

X2 on a rabbit fish. I used to have a scribbled rabbit that ate any kind of algae in the tank.

I would say keep an eye on any foxface. I put one in my 120 back in the day and he wiped out several colonies of zoos, blastos, an acan, and a duncan until he finally jumped out of the tank and to me delight. he was selective however I had a rock with green and red zoos mixed together and he wiped out just the reds and left the greens alone.

I pull them out by hand during water changes. With no flow, if the bubble pops, I follow immediately up with siphoning water hopefully getting most of the spores that are released. I have had good luck with a foxface but I have also seen them nip stuff you want as well. I had a scribbled foxface and got rid of him after the bubble went away. Now I pluck the several bubbles during changes.
