Bubble Algae

So I've had a bubble algae outbreak in my nano, I added a couple small emerald crab but from time to time I catch them eating and nipping at my tree coral. Any advice how I can stop or prevent this?

Are you running GFO? That should do the trick over the course of a month or so to lower phosphates.

You might wanna also wanna try rinsing your food before you put it in the tank. Had a bad case of bubble algea myself but started to soak my mysis before feedings. That along with water changes the gfo that was already suggested took care of it in 3 weeks.

If removing the rock is an option, google peroxide dip. It works amazingly well for bubble algae. Totally gone in 3 days.

Then also rinse food and run Gfo to treat the cause.
